Create a New Assistant

  1. Navigate to the Assistants section in the primary sidebar.
  2. Click the New Assistant button.
  3. Fill in the creation form:

Name and Description

Give your assistant a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Research Analyst” or “Code Reviewer”). Add an optional description to help you and your team understand its purpose.

System Prompt

The system prompt is the core of your assistant. It defines the assistant’s personality, expertise, and behaviour. Write clear instructions for how the AI should respond.
Tips for effective system prompts:
  • Be specific about the role and expertise
  • Define the tone and style of responses
  • Include any constraints or rules
  • Provide examples of ideal responses if helpful

Default Model

Select the AI model that best suits the assistant’s purpose. For example, use a more capable model like Claude Opus or GPT-5.2 for complex analysis, or a faster model like Haiku or GPT-5 Nano for quick responses.

Icon

Choose an icon to visually identify your assistant in the sidebar and lists.

Label

Assign a label to categorise the assistant:
  • Research — For information gathering and analysis
  • Support — For customer or internal support
  • Automation — For automated or repetitive tasks
  • Productivity — For general productivity and workflow
  1. Click Create to save your assistant.
